With a comprehensive mastery over the procedures in their area of expertise, the Financial Controls Manager is responsible for assisting with the development and performance of key internal controls over financial reporting (IFCR) to align with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Controls, Documentation and Compliance: Develop, document, and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and financial regulations. Conduct risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure sufficient documentation is retained to evidence performance of key controls.
  • Partner and Collaborate: Partner with the Internal Audit team and external Audits and regulators to ensure alignment with regulatory standards. Coordinate with internal departments to streamline processes and improve financial governance.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remain cognizant of and adhere to Ent Credit Union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Requirements

This role requires a seasoned professional with a comprehensive mastery over financial control procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing financial controls, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
