Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, organize, and manage the installation schedules for electrical systems across multiple projects.
  • Utilize advanced electrician skills to ensure high-quality installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, establishing priorities and methodologies for the team.
  • Conduct fair evaluations of team performance, attendance, and overall conduct.
  • Provide hands-on training and technical support to team members regarding safe equipment operation and effective work practices.
  • Identify and recommend necessary tools and materials for the electrical department.
  • Uphold safety standards and performance regulations within the workplace.
  • Maintain comprehensive reports and documentation related to project activities, including quality assurance inspection forms.
  • Execute tasks as specified in project documentation and client requirements.
  • Procure materials in accordance with project specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of Quality Control and Assurance processes for electrical systems.
  • Deliver customer support by addressing technical inquiries and resolving electrical issues.
  • Inspect materials for quality and report any discrepancies.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of units prior to dispatch using established QA forms.
  • Facilitate employee performance reviews and provide necessary feedback.
  • Mentor Assistant Supervisors to ensure they are prepared to assume supervisory responsibilities when required.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical work.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Possession of a Journeyman License is highly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical installation methods, materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory as it pertains to circuits and distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and national electrical codes.
  • Proficient in the use of various electrical tools and equipment.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Skilled in interpreting blueprints, sketches, and technical documentation.
  • Capable of estimating labor, time, and material needs for projects.
  • Experience with mechanical lifts and working at heights.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and climbing.
