Life Enrichment Coordinator

Touchmark at Wedgewood is seeking a dedicated and creative individual to join our Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment Coordinator. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging activities and social events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the design and execution of activities and wellness initiatives that cater to the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of our residents.
  • Work alongside our Life Enrichment Director and other team members to ensure a seamless integration of services for current and prospective residents.
  • Foster community spirit by identifying resident interests and organizing regular social gatherings that promote connection and friendship.
  • Devote time to brainstorming and coordinating excursions, arranging transportation, and building relationships within the community.
  • Play a pivotal role in nurturing the sense of belonging and community among residents.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Life Enrichment or Health and Wellness.
  • Proficient computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn specific software used by the organization.
  • A genuine passion for the well-being of older adults, particularly those experiencing Alzheimer's and dementia.
