We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at SlingShot Connections. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming raw materials, ensuring accurate inventory transactions, and collaborating with Purchasing and Stockroom to support production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming raw materials, ensuring all necessary paperwork is complete and accurate
- Update the Manex system with inventory transactions in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform material transfers to and from the main stockroom, work-in-process (WIP), and finished product to meet production schedules and customer requirements
- Ensure compliance with stockroom processes and procedures, including receiving only approved vendor and supplier materials
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Stockroom to support production schedules and kit release requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Contract Manufacturing
- Familiarity with stockroom processes and PCBA assembly activities
- Ability to identify components by package type and perform tasks with high accuracy
- Proficiency in arithmetic, computer, and Microsoft Office programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work well with others to accomplish department goals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to measure component values for resistors, capacitors, and inductors
- Ability to read technical data sheets and determine correct component markings
- Experience with Manex or similar ERP systems
