Mobile Phlebotomy Specialist

American Health Associates, Inc. is a leading clinical laboratory services provider, serving over 4,000 long-term care facilities across the nation.
We are seeking reliable and dedicated Mobile Phlebotomists who are willing to drive and travel to facilities to obtain blood specimens from residents.
As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for:
- Collecting blood specimens from patients following established venipuncture protocols
- Completing facility logs and requisitions accurately and efficiently
- Preparing tube labels correctly and legibly
- Submitting accurate payroll time sheets and work/travel mileage logs to Supervisor
- Adhering to facility rules and protocols
- Picking up specimens from facilities in assigned routes
- Transporting collected specimens timely to designated locations
Requirements:
- Valid state-issued Driver License
- Clean driving record for last 5 years
- Own reliable transportation
- Required auto insurance coverage (100/300/100) in employee's name
- Clean criminal history as required for positions with direct patient care
- Some states require additional background check including fingerprinting
- Minimum of 1 year work experience as a phlebotomist
- Possess a passion towards SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination for all personnel and affiliates who will be present at a facility, required. Religious and medical exemptions may be provided in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
