Dermatology Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Support Specialist to join our Dermatology team at Billings Clinic. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting our physicians and staff in providing exceptional patient care.

• Assist in the delivery of patient care and treatment, performing laboratory and histology duties as needed.
• Work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to meet the physical, psychosocial, educational, and spiritual needs of our patients and families.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
• Perform histology duties, including preparing specimens for pathologic evaluation and staining tissue for microscopic analysis.
• Assist with scheduling admissions, appointments, diagnostic tests, treatments, and procedures, as well as screen incoming telephone calls for referrals to our nursing staff.

• High School or GED required; LPN or Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a dermatology or surgical area.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
