Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Retail Lighting Showroom Sales Associate for our Plymouth, MA location. The ideal candidate will be driven, goal-oriented, and committed to upholding the standards and procedures of Granite City Electric.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment, greeting every customer, and maintaining high standards of service.
- Organize and set up promotional displays or arrange merchandise in the showroom to enhance sales opportunities.
- Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support retail operations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the showroom and facilities.
- Assist with various projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong multitasking skills.
- Capability to handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to adapt to changing business conditions.
- Open to working at different showroom locations as needed.
- Receptive to coaching and actively engages in the development process.
Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma is required. Previous experience in lighting or retail sales is advantageous. A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service is essential. Familiarity with lighting and home fashion trends is a plus, but training will be provided to help maximize sales potential.
