About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Everett, Massachusetts.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, performing complex laboratory tests and evaluating results to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and evaluate laboratory tests in various areas of the clinical laboratory, including complex precision instruments and automated equipment.
  • Work with minimal supervision, utilizing problem-solving skills to recognize and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist in developing and modifying procedures to ensure test accuracy and quality control.
  • Document results accurately and follow through on outliers, notifying supervisors as necessary.
  • Report critical values to the appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in a science required.
  • Must be CLIA eligible for High Complexity Testing.
  • MT(ASCP) or equivalent preferred.
  • Internship or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years in a hospital laboratory experience preferred.
