Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paint Prepper to join our team at Hendrick Luxury Collision Center. As a key member of our body shop team, you will assist our Painter in preparing vehicles for paint, ensuring a high-quality finish and meeting our customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Painter in preparing vehicles for paint, including cleaning and buffing surfaces.
  • Apply paint to vehicle parts according to Collision Center guidelines.
  • Cover vehicle parts that do not require painting.
  • Buff or clean surfaces after paint dries.
  • Request necessary materials and supplies.
  • Assist with performing paint jobs efficiently and according to Collision Center guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Participate in required training and development programs.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in our timekeeping system.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in Collision Center Paint or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to operate equipment to perform painting functions.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Basic computer skills to utilize our timekeeping system.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Work Environment

This position requires regular and predictable attendance, including evening hours, weekends, and holidays. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent movement around vehicles to apply paint to various body parts. You may be exposed to loud noise, vibration, paint dust, and other body shop conditions.
