Collateral Management Specialist

About the Role:

  • This is a long-term contract role (12 months) with a large global banking client, where you will serve as the primary contact for Americas-based clients and manage daily margin calls for futures, options, and OTC cleared positions.
  • You will provide exceptional customer service, handle client inquiries, and maintain relationships with internal departments while staying informed on market developments in clearing and settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure daily client margin calls are covered and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  2. Address client trade and settlement queries, and escalate issues to Credit/Risk Management and Operations as needed.
  3. Book FX transactions for clients and manage collateral bookings and releases effectively.
  4. Coordinate with Front/Middle Office for client inquiries and understand and adhere to Bank policies and controls.

Requirements:

  • You must have experience in clearing and settlement for futures, options, and OTC products, as well as strong customer service and communication skills.
  • You should be able to manage settlements and collateral inquiries efficiently, possess analytical problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with collateral governance and control is essential, along with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and global peers.
  • You must be proactive, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Salary:

$38.00-$40.00 per hour

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid work arrangement available
