Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Stroke Care Program Director to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a leader in stroke care, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive stroke programs that meet national and evidence-based guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Compliance: Provide leadership and expertise to ensure compliance with designated DSCC standards for stroke patient care, including performance measures and clinical practice guidelines.
  • Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement, develop PI plans, and coordinate and lead required projects to remedy identified issues through quality activities and ongoing audits.
  • Education and Community Outreach: Oversee stroke education delivery to ensure impacted clinical staff meets education requirements, collaborate with staff development, simulation teams, nursing leaders, and Medical Directors to organize clinical education and training activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of acute hospital clinical experience, including 3 years providing stroke care (ED, ICU, Neuro ICU, or stroke unit patient care).
  • A minimum of 2 years of stroke patient case management, stroke unit champion, stroke clinical education role, hospital quality/AR&L stroke role support, and/or clinical project management experience.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.
