Jobot is a prominent player in the wholesale building materials sector, and we are on the lookout for a skilled **Cost Accountant** to enhance our financial team. In this role, you will be tasked with the organization and analysis of financial data to develop and uphold standard costing and perpetual inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and classify financial information to create standard costing and perpetual inventory frameworks
  • Establish benchmarks for costs associated with raw materials, labor processes, and efficiency improvements
  • Engage in specialized initiatives focused on cost tracking and estimation
  • Formulate the annual budget for the manufacturing facility and evaluate expenditure reports
  • Supervise monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory precision
  • Support auditors during the auditing process and maintain inventory documentation
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles and technical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in JDEdwards and Microsoft Excel
Educational Background and Experience:

A minimum of a two-year degree in accounting with relevant experience, or a four-year degree in accounting. A minimum of three years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
