Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and oversee the Inventory Control team, delegating daily responsibilities and collaborating with warehouse leadership to provide constructive feedback on performance.
  2. Inventory Oversight: Perform daily assessments of inventory levels to identify and rectify discrepancies. Ensure the accuracy of the stock item database, maintaining precise descriptions and identifiers.
  3. Support Order Fulfillment: Aid order fulfillment personnel by identifying items with misplaced locations or incorrect identifiers. Liaise with the Purchasing Department regarding new inventory, location modifications, and adjustments to counts.
  4. Performance Evaluation: Monitor inventory control objectives and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  5. Warehouse Operations: Conduct general upkeep and organization of the warehouse environment, operating forklifts as necessary.
  6. Additional Responsibilities: Carry out other related tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in inventory management.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to operate independently and uphold integrity.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Excel is advantageous.
