Laundry Attendant Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Clarksville Riverview. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain washing, drying, and ironing equipment to ensure high-quality linen processing.
  • Monitor and control linen inventory, performing regular counts and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Organize and stock linen storage areas, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Collaborate with the laundry team to achieve common goals and maintain a positive working relationship.
  • Perform related duties as assigned, including folding, ironing, and pressing linen.
  • Assist with chute duties and operate air compressors to maintain equipment cleanliness.
Requirements:
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of laundry chemicals and formulas.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including early morning, afternoon, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours, with occasional lifting and/or moving of products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
