Role Summary
The Head of Brand Strategy will be pivotal in steering a holistic brand vision that aligns with the organization's objectives and ethos. This individual will possess an in-depth understanding of the Mizzen+Main identity and target demographic, leveraging this insight to shape strategies across various marketing channels, including Public Relations, Social Media, Influencer Engagement, Brand Collaborations, and Event Marketing. This position requires a proactive leader who is eager to apply their extensive expertise to elevate the Mizzen+Main brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the planning, budgeting, and execution of all brand-related events, ensuring that established objectives are met.
  • Formulate strategies for Retail and Wholesale marketing initiatives, collaborating with channel leaders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Identify and track essential brand performance indicators, analyzing the return on investment of initiatives and refining strategies to optimize results.
  • Explore and establish brand partnerships and collaborations to enhance visibility and market presence.
  • Oversee the budget and expenditures for all brand initiatives.
  • Develop and implement social media and content marketing strategies to effectively engage the target audience.
  • Lead influencer and affiliate marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with brand values and performance metrics.
  • Manage relationships with Public Relations agencies, prioritizing key initiatives for local and national amplification.
  • Collaborate with the sports media agency to ensure that athlete partnerships are effectively promoted across marketing channels.
  • Maintain the go-to-market calendar, ensuring visibility of key brand initiatives across the organization.
  • Foster strong cross-departmental collaboration to align key initiatives with brand strategy and maintain consistency across all platforms.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and creativity within the team, allowing for the development of impactful ideas.
  • Act as a mentor and leader, recognizing the strengths and growth opportunities of team members and facilitating their professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience working with Public Relations agencies and influencers.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing brand partnerships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Strong leader with a collaborative approach.
