Position Summary

The Senior Operations Program Manager is tasked with providing comprehensive leadership for the operations segment concerning product development and operational initiatives within the Single Use Endoscopes (SUE) division. This role involves collaboration with various cross-functional teams to create, implement, modify, and execute plans that facilitate successful product launches and project outcomes aligned with business objectives and operational metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and guide resources from operations to ensure projects are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Assess project opportunities for feasibility, taking into account financial, technical, organizational, and risk management factors.
  • Design project strategies that optimize the risk/reward balance.
  • Oversee project budgets and resource allocations, utilizing agile methodologies to adjust as necessary to achieve business goals.

  • Maintain oversight of project timelines and financials.
  • Adapt to new information and make necessary adjustments to maintain or redirect project trajectories, ensuring alignment with product and process development objectives.

  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders at various organizational levels, proactively addressing potential challenges that could impact timelines, costs, and project scope.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution among team members in a constructive manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to anticipate critical project activities and optimize resource management to prevent delays.

  • Prioritize and manage the execution of multiple departmental initiatives related to production.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Preferred:
  • At least 10 years of relevant industry experience with a proven history of successful product/process development or management of large-scale, complex programs in a regulated environment.
  • Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams, particularly in manufacturing and product development contexts.
  • Strong understanding of operational finance and the ability to conduct and interpret quantitative analyses of project risks and benefits.
  • Expertise in developing and sustaining project and platform strategies with a long-term perspective.
  • Familiarity with the development of intricate mechanical or opto-mechanical devices, as well as electronic medical devices.
  • Experience collaborating with external suppliers for new process and technology development.
  • Proficient team leader with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Able to think critically and creatively, with strong reporting capabilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies.
