Position Summary
As a Customer Engagement Representative at Douglas Blevins Agency, you will be a vital team member who takes pride in representing our agency and delivering outstanding service. Your role will involve supporting agents in executing sales and administrative tasks necessary for servicing our current clientele while actively seeking to grow our business.
Many of our agents operate as independent contractors, and as such, the staff supporting them are employed by the agent rather than by Alfa Insurance. Your responsibilities will include managing phone communications, performing administrative duties, assisting clients, and ensuring that client relationships are nurtured to meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business in multi-line insurance, provide quotes, bind policies, address customer inquiries, document requests, and process changes, including premium transactions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication across various platforms, resolve conflicts, and quickly adapt to new software and processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Support agents and service center staff as required.
- Evaluate applicant insurability and placement with proficiency in binding and processing applications.
- Ensure the efficient operation of the service center, including managing reports, documentation, and mail distribution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to obtain an Insurance Producer license within 30 days of employment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of learning new software and procedures.
- A collaborative team player with a positive and professional demeanor.
