Position Summary:

We are in search of a meticulous and organized professional to oversee our product compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and directives while developing and maintaining essential documentation. The ideal candidate thrives on mastering new tasks, embracing continuous learning, and taking full ownership of their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts product testing for physical dimensions utilizing tools such as calipers, rulers, and mandrels.
  • Coordinates and dispatches samples for third-party evaluations.
  • Manages material safety data sheets effectively.
  • Performs product inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Investigates complaints and non-conforming materials thoroughly.
  • Develops and maintains controlled documentation.
  • Conducts internal audits to uphold quality standards.
  • Prepares scientific reports in the form of testing protocols.
  • Analyzes test results, comparing them against established specifications and control limits, and provides recommendations regarding data release appropriateness.
  • Oversees the Product Compliance Program in relation to regulations and directives, including RoHS, REACH, Prop 65, and Conflict Minerals.

Additional Duties:

Undertakes other responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of GMP and ISO Quality Management Systems.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Visio.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload independently.
  • Background in science or engineering is preferred.
  • Visual acuity for material examination and inspection.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of spools weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Sharp vision is necessary.

Work Environment:

  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
  • Noise levels typically range from moderate to high.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
