Overview

EmpowerMe Wellness is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a senior living community. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide speech-language pathology and wellness services for older adults, conducting assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech-language pathology and wellness services for older adults
  • Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions
  • Support care coordination efforts by conducting regular wellness checkpoint visits with patients, communicating with patients' providers and caregivers, and assisting patients with attending telehealth visits
  • Maintain professional practices and ethical standards in accordance with company-wide policies and clinical initiatives
  • Contribute to program development, quality improvement, and problem-solving
  • Optimize each patient's functional well-being and satisfaction

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist program
  • Active ASHA certification and current state licensure in SLP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Tech-savvy skills and a willingness to learn
  • Professional curiosity and a knack for finding solutions
