Job Summary

Select Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced and skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to lead our client's healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and other required modalities while managing and mentoring the sonography team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams independently under physician supervision, ensuring accurate imaging results.
  • Lead the sonography team by managing, mentoring, and educating staff at all levels, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Allocate a minimum of 8 hours per week for administrative tasks, including team operations and departmental management, to ensure seamless workflow and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with peers and physicians to ensure imaging services meet departmental standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining a high level of quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in holiday and weekend rotations, with potential future on-call assignments if needed, to ensure 24/7 coverage and patient care.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of a certified CAAHEP school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or a two-year allied health equivalent with extensive on-the-job ultrasound training.
  • Active ARDMS registration in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular, with a minimum of 8 years of paid scanning experience in diagnostic medical ultrasound.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Level I trauma center.
  • Experience with GE ultrasound technology, Epic EMR, and Visage PACS systems.
