**Temporary Assistant Product Development Support Specialist**

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to support our Product Development manager with all incoming project requests, maintaining and updating the WIP Charts, calendar, and project coordination with the Floor.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and possess strong organizational abilities. The successful applicant will also have a keen eye for detail and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

This is a temporary full-time position that requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will work closely with the Product Development manager to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Physical pass-offs, handing design cards + materials off and conveying design/construction details to the Floor Manager
  • Photograph samples and manage Sample Image Archives, keeping all photos on company computers
  • Inventory Management of all raw materials needed, including Hardware, Leather, and Trims
  • Liaise between Design, PD, and TSR for all projects
  • Scheduling pickups and deliveries of samples
  • Physically delivering samples when needed
  • Manage Reference Libraries, including Technique trials, Mockups, and Innovations
  • Shop Inventory Management - ordering and management of shop materials
  • Maintenance: coordinating ongoing service maintenance for all machines, maintaining log of issues
  • Ordering machine parts and cataloguing machine part inventory. maintaining machine manuals and directly working with mechanic to ensure all issues are addressed and fixed in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
