Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Elevation: Design impactful visual materials for marketing campaigns, social media, and trade shows to enhance our brand and meet customer needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, sales, and external partners to identify products, messages, and innovative strategies for brand growth.
  • Website Management: Design, create, and maintain an interactive, user-friendly PJi website that meets all business goals and performance KPIs. Ensure accuracy and relevance of content, while constantly developing new ideas to improve the customer experience.
  • Technical & Marketing Integration: Manage website automation tools, such as Mailchimp and Figma, and contribute to digital marketing strategies, including lead tracking, customer nurturing, and campaign management.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Graphic Design:
  • Design graphics for press releases, emails, social media posts, blogs, marketing materials, and trade shows.
  • Plan concepts by studying relevant information and gather necessary materials for design projects.
  • Submit draft layouts for approval, collect feedback, and finalize designs according to PJi brand guidelines.
  • Ensure visual consistency across all PJi platforms and materials, focusing on customer engagement and usability.
  • Design new creative ways to drive traffic and conversions through visual design.
  • Web Design:
  • Develop the frontend of PJi's website to align with industry standards, business objectives, and create a unique user experience.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure optimal website functionality, performance, and security.
  • Team Support & Strategy Implementation:
  • Assist with the implementation of marketing strategies and collaborate on cross-departmental projects.
  • Contribute to internal marketing functions, supporting the Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying updated on industry trends and expanding knowledge in both graphic design and web development.
  • Supports and fulfills additional tasks as required by leadership or as necessary to meet organizational goals.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education:
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design.
  • In lieu of a degree, 5+ or more years of relevant experience and strong portfolio.
  • Design & Development Skills:
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and web design technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and experience with web technologies like MySQL, Python, PHP, and Linux-based servers.
  • Strong grasp of visual hierarchy, typography, and layout mechanics for both print and digital formats.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively within a team and with external partners.
  • Proficient in creating, editing, and proofreading copy for various mediums.
  • Project & Time Management:
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and work at least 40 hours per week.
  • Marketing & Analytics Knowledge:
  • Understanding of digital marketing tools, such as Google Analytics, Figma, Mailchimp, and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Advanced understanding of SEO principles, digital media strategies, and media relations.
  • Willingness to pursue additional training and professional development opportunities.
