Nursing Attendant-Centralized Nursing Service-Day Shift

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Attendant-Centralized Nursing Service-Day Shift to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our Centralized Nursing Service, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Conduct regular patient rounds to ensure patient comfort, safety, and personal needs are met.
- Provide basic hygiene and personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare patients for meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Collect and process patient specimens as directed by the RN.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the RN.
- Assist with moving, lifting, and positioning patients as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the Centralized Nursing Service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of Certified Nursing Attendant program or minimum 6 months relevant experience.
- BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
