About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Estimator to join our Preconstruction and Estimating team in our Chicagoland Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing labor productivity, contingency, and escalation analyses, identifying and communicating project risks, and reviewing projects for cost-effectiveness and assessing value alternatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop labor productivity, contingency, and escalation analyses
  • Identify, evaluate, and communicate project risks
  • Review projects for cost-effectiveness and assess value alternatives
  • Analyze the development of documents and estimate the associated changes
  • Participate in scope of work development and subcontract agreements to ensure projects are fully coordinated between all disciplines
  • Recommend a procurement strategy and manage the bid solicitation process
  • Aid field operations with change order pricing if needed
  • Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain a competitive advantage for the team
