Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage a team of nurses to ensure effective and efficient patient care
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the Healthcare Program Manager and Medical Director to develop and implement healthcare programs
- Provide training and education to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Conduct regular meetings with nursing staff to discuss updates, address issues, and promote a collaborative working environment
- Ensure that nursing care meets regulatory standards by MSPP and ensures nurses are providing the best care
- Attend local and regional MSPP and healthcare partners events, trainings, meetings, and other Healthcare Events on behalf of HFH
- Evaluate nursing staff performance by coordinating all staff meetings and individual check-ins as needed, as well as completing annual performance reviews
- Manage budget lines related to programmatic activities to ensure cost-effective use of resources and submit monthly Purchase Order (PO) requests
- Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management, MSPP Nursing Certificate required
- Advanced skills in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Tools, and Internet
- Experience in Healthcare Management
- Good written and reporting skills
- Ability to write and speak in English and French or Haitian Creole required
- Passion and enthusiasm for non-profit work
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and joyful demeanor
- Ability to work and establish good relationships with co-workers, partners, and non-partners
- Ability to traverse distances of over 10 kilometers at varying elevations and to move 30 pounds over shoulders
- Resiliency: Ability to respond appropriately and sensitively to cultural differences as they arise among the organization's service population
- Flexible, adaptable, patient and accepting of the fact that Hope for Haiti and its activities are constantly evolving in line with its resources and goals
- Ability to adapt to and make level-headed decisions in stressful situations
- High energy and strong physical condition, including but not limited to the ability to hike distances over 5 kilometers and lift at least 30 lbs over the shoulders
- Empower: Ability to conduct and participate in staff meetings and strategic planning professionally and to represent Hope for Haiti's mission to team members and colleagues
- Accountable: Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assigned tasks

This is a full-time position with benefits after the successful completion of a 90-day probationary period. This is NOT an accompanied position and housing or transportation will not be provided.
