About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the strategic initiatives of the Joe C. Wen School of Population & Public Health and conduct research activities to further the Center's mission and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct data analysis and develop plans for strategic initiatives
  • Support research and programmatic implementation
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Community engagement, participant recruitment, research protocol implementation, data analysis, and project management
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of health disparities and related topics impacting sexual and gender minoritized communities
  • Demonstrates ability to engage diverse communities in public health programs
  • Proficient in quantitative data analysis using software such as STATA, R, or SAS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in qualitative data analysis using software such as Dedoose
  • Working knowledge of human subjects protections and IRB applications
  • Spanish language fluency
