Assemble Control Equipment Specialist

Job Summary: Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for performing winding, assembly, and complex wiring tasks to produce complete sub-assemblies and final control equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works from drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information to complete assembly and wiring of control equipment.
- Determines necessary parts and material and prepares requisition to obtain parts and material from stock.
- Prepares wire for assembly by cutting, stripping, and attaching terminals. Routes out, assembles, wires, adjusts, fits, and modifies parts, components, and sub-assemblies to form completed control assembly.
- May require lifting, bending, ladder work, and other forms of movement.
- Checks electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure conformance to quality standards and makes necessary adjustments and alignment when required.
- Reports irregularities or equipment malfunctions to coach. Maintains records as required.
- Observes all safety and hygiene rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the work location. Active Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirement.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical or Electrical background.
- Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead.
- Able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Proven history of safe work habits.
- Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision.
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
- Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends.
