Job Title: Integrated Health Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach in our Integrative Health program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Integrative Health and experience teaching online.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in the Integrative Health specialization
  • Facilitate online courses in Integrative Health
  • Attend adjunct meetings per the program director
  • Evaluate student work through timely and meaningful feedback
  • Provide oversight to program director regarding Integrative Health best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of the Division of Nursing and/or Associate Dean with oversight of the integrative health program(s)

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Integrative Health related field required
  • PhD or Doctorate in related field preferred
  • Experience teaching using an online modality
  • Substantial evidence of effective Integrative Health practices
  • An appreciation for the interests of working adults
  • An awareness of higher education academic and administrative processes with an understanding of public health certification process
  • A solid track record as a collaborative leader with effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and a strong interest in realizing IWU's institutional learning outcomes

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft products
  • Demonstrate knowledge of adult learners
