Adjunct Faculty Opportunity in Integrative Health

Job Summary:

The InsideHigherEd team is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach in the Integrative Health program. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses in the Integrative Health specialization in the academic Masters of Science in Integrative Health program.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in the Integrative Health specialization
  • Facilitate online courses in Integrative Health
  • Attend adjunct meetings per the program director
  • Evaluate student work through timely and meaningful feedback
  • Provide oversight to program director regarding Integrative Health best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of the Division of Nursing and/or Associate Dean with oversight of the integrative health program(s)

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Integrative Health related field required
  • PhD or Doctorate in related field preferred

Experience:

  • Experience teaching using an online modality
  • Substantial evidence of effective Integrative Health practices
  • An appreciation for the interests of working adults
  • An awareness of higher education academic and administrative processes with an understanding of public health certification process
  • A solid track record as a collaborative leader with effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and a strong interest in realizing IWU's institutional learning outcomes
