Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Solutions Analyst to join our team at Gov2Biz. As a key member of our Implementation Services department, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our customers and development teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Collection and Analysis

  • Perform in-depth interviews with stakeholders, including business users, technical users, subject matter experts, and end-users to gather requirements.
  • Conduct detailed functional analysis of process maps, forms, documents, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze and define the scope of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Documentation

  • Utilize Jira and Confluence for tracking and managing tasks, user stories, and project documentation.
  • Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows that accurately reflect business requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including use case methodologies, entity-relationship diagrams, and MoSCoW analysis.

User Acceptance

  • Perform demonstrations to stakeholders, collect and analyze feedback.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) by triaging all issues raised by stakeholders during UAT, coordinating with development teams for resolution.

Training & User Documentation

  • Develop and deliver training sessions to end-users, ensuring a smooth transition to new systems and processes.
  • Create detailed user guides, manuals, and other training materials to support end-user adoption.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, developers, and other teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and progress.
  • Perform scope control by ensuring strict adherence to scope, documents, proposals, and solicitations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on enterprise software implementations.
  • Willingness to undergo a complete background check.
  • Work Authorization to work in the USA.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Advanced experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong expertise in functional analysis, requirements gathering, and user story development.
  • Adept at use case methodology, entity-relationship diagrams, MoSCoW analysis, and process flow creation.
  • Experience in developing user stories, mockups, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist with user acceptance testing, bug triaging, and issue resolution.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and create detailed documentation including user guides.

Preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in government software projects.
  • 2 end-to-end legacy modernization projects experience.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience on Figma or Balsamiq.
  • 2+ years of experience as a software programmer.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred but not required.
