Job Title: Part-time School Health Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services to students at our contracted schools in Waterford, Milford, and Highland.

About the Role:
  • Support students' needs as described in the medical and medication management plan according to physician and parent recommendations.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to ensure student safety and well-being.
  • Consult with parents and school administrators as required for additions, deletions, or changes to medical plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of student health information and medication administration.
Responsibilities:
  1. Provide nursing care and support to students in General and Special Education.
  2. Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and follow established protocols.
  3. Support students with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and IADLs (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living), as needed.
  4. Collaborate with para-educators to ensure smooth implementation of health plans.
Requirements:
  • A valid Michigan nursing license.
  • Proof of education level.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000 based on location and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
