Position Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned software engineer to join our prediction team, tasked with the development and deployment of algorithms aimed at comprehending the complete environment surrounding the ego vehicle and anticipating the actions of other road entities. This role is pivotal in accelerating the evolution and implementation of our autonomous vehicle technology. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical foundation, practical software engineering experience, and a talent for tackling complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement algorithms to propel research in predicting agent behavior within interactive environments.
  • Transform ambiguous real-world challenges into clearly defined machine learning tasks. Collaboratively innovate new deep learning models capable of forecasting the future actions of road users in real-time.
  • Oversee all technical facets of development, encompassing requirement specification, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration.
  • Utilize our extensive machine learning infrastructure to explore novel solutions and expand the frontiers of the field.
  • Develop software that operates on vehicles to effectively execute our algorithms in real-time.
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. or a highly qualified M.S. candidate in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in statistical inference and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with open-source deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Experience in analyzing latency and optimizing safety-critical software systems.
  • Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, parallel programming, and code optimization, along with significant experience in software engineering and algorithm design for large-scale data processing.
  • Proficient in data science practices, including data collection, analysis, hypothesis formulation, and validation.
