Job Overview

Position Summary:
The Lead Technician collaborates with fellow installers and operates independently to execute installations and service requests. This role is accountable for the prompt completion of daily tasks and associated documentation. Additionally, the technician is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of their assigned vehicle.

  • Proficient in devising and executing field solutions
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute intricate audio/video installations, configurations, and calibrations
  • Design control systems (lighting/shading) and install theater rooms
  • Set up and install satellite and cable systems
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting for both simple and complex systems
  • Design, install, and configure advanced networking/data systems
  • Program advanced systems thoroughly (Control4 and Lutron)
  • Complete Control4/Lutron training (lighting/shading)
  • Provide support for legacy and/or third-party products and systems
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of multi-room systems and configurations
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of security system programming and design
  • Exhibit advanced expertise in Bose single-room and multi-room solutions
  • Hold CEDIA ESTIII and Control4 Tech 2 certifications
  • Complete ProSource University training within the first year of employment

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
  • Able to participate in a rotating on-call service schedule
  • Proficient in all senior-level qualifications
  • Assist in the training and assessment of technicians up to the senior level
  • Excellent skills in desktop and mobile computing
  • Maintain a clean driving record and pass a background check (required for certification)
  • A minimum of 3 years of field experience is required
