At Fuyao Glass America, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Supervisor to join our team. As a Technical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct pre-shift meetings to review production plans and ensure all personnel are aware of their responsibilities.
- Deploy personnel on production lines and provide guidance and leadership to ensure efficient and effective production.
- Assist with the assembly of finished products and ensure that all quality standards are met.
- Provide training to new employees on production work instructions and ensure that all personnel are proficient in their roles.
- Assist with inventory management, including daily confirmation of empty BMW racks delivered and monthly inventory checks.
- Provide customer service, including communication with customers via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Assist with human resources tasks, including communicating employee issues and concerns to FGA HR.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience and/or training.
- Ability to read, understand, and comprehend documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
- Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership, and customers.
- Knowledge of manufacturing software and ability to operate a forklift.
- Ability to pass static strength requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
The Technical Supervisor will work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels and will be required to stand for long periods. Safety requirements include wearing safety glasses and steel-toed work boots.
