The Residential Loan Consultant will oversee consumer mortgage financing inquiries adhering to equitable lending standards. Engages with clients to elucidate mortgage-related information, clarifies credit guidelines, and gathers necessary financial documentation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting interviews and processing loan applications
  • Evaluating loan submissions and addressing credit challenges
  • Fostering client relationships
  • Effectively liaising with bank staff

Educational Background: High school diploma required; advanced degree is advantageous

Required Knowledge: Familiarity with consumer mortgage lending regulations, financial assessment, and NMLS certification

Experience Needed: 3-5 years in consumer mortgage lending

The Residential Loan Consultant will assess new consumer mortgage applications, finalize approved loans, support marketing initiatives, and possess comprehensive knowledge of lending methodologies.

Skills and Competencies: Strong communication abilities, financial analytical expertise, proficient interviewing techniques, and computer literacy

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard business hours
