Position Snapshot:
The Senior Consultant for Compensation Services will collaborate with management to deliver expert insights into selection processes, performance evaluation, talent management, and succession planning. This role entails a deep understanding of compensation analysis for various compliance projects, including State, OFCCP, and EEOC initiatives. The individual will be pivotal in delivering consulting services in Compensation to our clients and will guide our internal consulting and product development teams on the full spectrum of Compensation Service offerings.
The Senior Consultant will work closely with clients and/or legal representatives to provide services that are confidential, privileged, and involve complex statistical operations and interpretations, aligning with best practices in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and the client's organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
YOUR ROLE INCLUDES:
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of Berkshire's processes and protocols across all departments.
- Serving as an internal resource for HR Compensation Services products, assisting Product Development, Sales, AA/EEO, and fellow Consultants.
- Applying knowledge of statistical operations, including regression analysis, cluster analysis, mediation/moderation modeling, and structural equation modeling (SEM).
- Managing projects, which includes developing strategies, executing plans, and documenting lessons learned.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
Essential Skills
Research, analytical thinking, data interpretation, writing proficiency, multitasking, project management, effective time management, and a willingness to acquire new skills.
Experience Requirements
1. Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python, or similar tools for conducting descriptive, inferential, and advanced statistical analyses.
2. Ability to apply learned concepts to devise practical solutions for both client needs and internal discussions at Berkshire.
3. Proven experience utilizing statistics to support HR-related decision-making (Talent Management, Performance Management, Selection, etc.).
Educational Background
A Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Industrial Organizational Psychology or a related field (e.g., Labor Economics, Statistics, Organizational Development).
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $75,000 - $112,000 annually
