Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Multicraft Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Kellanova. As a key member of our Reliability team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Performance Management - Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, conduct Break Down Elimination on failures, and manage machine performance.
  • Preventative Maintenance - Perform equipment inspections, lubrication, oil analysis, and other maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Safety and Quality - Understand and follow established safety, health, and quality procedures to drive forward production and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service - Establish rapport with business partners across the plant floor to solve problems with a strong sense of urgency and a common goal.
Requirements
  • Effective communication, basic computer software knowledge, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, lifting (50lbs), and/or repetitive tasks throughout the day.
  • Previous experience as a mechanic in a food manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on packaging and processing equipment.
  • Skills working with electronic controls, PLC's, VFD's, Servo Motors.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Previous metal fabrication and/or machining experience.
