I. Overview:
This role is responsible for orchestrating and overseeing manufacturing operations during the night shift, ensuring that all activities align with safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The position requires strong leadership to motivate team members and achieve production goals while collaborating with various departments to enhance operational performance.

II. Key Responsibilities:

A. Direct and oversee all manufacturing processes within the designated area to fulfill both customer and organizational expectations.

1. Implement and utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to standardize operations and identify areas for improvement.

2. Establish and maintain a continuous improvement framework for manufacturing practices.

3. Guide the successful introduction of new products into the manufacturing line.

4. Strategically plan and adjust layouts for production lines in response to changes in demand or workforce availability.

5. Maintain ongoing communication with other department managers to address process or material adjustments.

6. Conduct daily team meetings to outline objectives and review performance metrics.

B. Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.

1. Develop and enforce area-specific policies to promote a safe and efficient workplace.

2. Align local policies with broader corporate standards.

3. Uphold industry regulations and quality standards in all operational practices.

C. Lead the formulation and management of the annual operational plan, budget, and performance metrics.

1. Create a comprehensive annual plan that aligns with corporate objectives, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity.

2. Monitor and report on the progress of the annual plan, making necessary adjustments to meet targets.

3. Analyze performance data to identify trends and implement corrective actions as needed.

D. Foster a positive work environment that emphasizes trust, respect, and teamwork.

E. Provide guidance and support to team leaders and supervisors to enhance operational performance.

F. Promote the professional development of team leaders through feedback, training, and performance evaluations.

III. Qualifications:

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
• At least 8 years of relevant manufacturing experience is essential, with a preference for automotive industry experience.

• A minimum of 4 years in a leadership role is required.

Skills:
• Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems, particularly in the automotive sector.

• Proficient in applying Lean Manufacturing and quality management principles.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

IV. Work Environment:
• Open office and standard manufacturing plant environments with moderate noise levels. Personal protective equipment may be required in certain areas.

V. Physical Requirements:
• The role requires the ability to communicate effectively, stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
