Program Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Lead - Mental Health Services to join our team at Friends of Firefighters Inc. In this role, you will play a critical part in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our clinical program, The Bravest Children. You will facilitate group and individual services for children under 18, develop curriculum and programmatic activities in alignment with our vision, and provide insights and guidance on client trends and needs.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Program Development:
- Develop and implement curriculum and materials with the senior clinical staff and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
- Supervise and facilitate group and individual counseling services for children under 18, ensuring high-quality care and effective treatment plans.
- Manage caseloads and maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with Friends of Firefighters policies and procedures.
- Support the intake and scheduling of clients for groups or referrals to external sources as deemed necessary.
- Monitor and analyze client trends and needs, advising on responses and adjustments within clinical operations.
- Masters degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a mental health counselor or social worker in the state of New York.
- Minimum 5 years experience in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy in group and individual settings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Trauma care or other related experience highly preferred.
$52-60 per hour, based on location and experience. Please note that salary estimates may vary.
