Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage mechanical construction, commercial construction, and HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Engage with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure effective project execution and communication.
  • Establish and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress, identify potential challenges, and implement necessary corrective measures.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, change orders, RFIs, and submittals using Procore and Bluebeam software.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams, fostering a positive work environment and a culture of accountability.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, innovation, and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the mechanical construction, commercial construction, or HVAC sectors.
  • Experience with Primavera is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in managing small and large-scale commercial projects ranging from $5000 to $20 million.
  • Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam software for project management and documentation control.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
