Job Title: Park Services Supervisor

At the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Park Services Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our park facilities, while also providing exceptional customer service to our visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Park Services team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement cleaning and maintenance schedules to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Train and evaluate staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Identify and address any safety concerns or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a facilities or maintenance setting.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:

This position requires regular standing, walking, and use of various tools and equipment. The supervisor will be exposed to outside weather conditions and must be able to lift/move/carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
