Position Overview


This position serves as the main point of contact for all IT-related activities within the organization, providing support to various stakeholders including operations, human resources, facilities, and safety departments.

The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities such as data analysis, database administration, software and hardware troubleshooting, project assistance, and serving as the primary point of contact for IT-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analysis and manipulation for operational insights.
  • Develop tools and macros for local team utilization.
  • Manage and create databases as required.
  • Identify and implement technical solutions to enhance site processes.
  • Address ad hoc requests as they arise.
  • Oversee local IT equipment and manage requests.
  • Act as the main IT contact for any system-related issues.
  • Serve as the IT point of contact for on-site projects.
  • Responsible for asset management and tracking.
  • Coordinate updates, assist with testing, and support various IT systems and software.
  • Facilitate equipment setup.
  • Act as a functional expert and IT stakeholder for senior leadership.
Required Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with database management.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is advantageous.
Essential Skills

  • Ability to create macros and tools using various software applications.
Required Abilities

  • Capable of working in a warehouse environment.
  • Flexibility to work the necessary schedule to fulfill assigned duties.
  • Proficient in computer usage for data entry and research tasks.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and a collaborative team player with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Educational Background

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirements

  • Experience in a distribution environment is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with hardware and software systems, maintenance, and technical support.
Supervision

  • Tasks and work assignments are reviewed regularly.
Individual Contribution

  • This position does not involve managing a team.
