The Operating Room Specialist plays a crucial role in surgical procedures by ensuring the maintenance of a sterile environment and providing necessary instruments. This position involves participation in unit activities aimed at ensuring high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure and maintain the integrity of the sterile surgical field.
- Provide appropriate instrumentation during surgical procedures.
- Monitor the operating room environment for safety and equipment functionality.
- Participate in unit activities to uphold quality patient care standards.
- Engage in effective communication with the perioperative team, including participation in the Time Out Process.
- Assist with patient transport, room turnovers, and preparation.
- Stay updated on new technologies and procedures relevant to the role.

Technical Skills:
Candidates must possess or be able to acquire the necessary computer skills to complete online training and access job-specific resources within a specified timeframe. Proficiency in the English language, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking, is essential.

Compensation:
The pay package is structured around 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
