Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Amalfi Llama. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for promoting our values and culture, leading by example, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, coach, counsel, and discipline employees
  • Communicate job expectations and monitor, appraise, and review job contributions
  • Enforce policies and procedures, and contribute to the company's strategic plan
  • Prepare and complete action plans, implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
  • Resolve problems, complete audits, identify trends, and determine system improvements
  • Minimize food, paper, and labor waste, and execute accurate inventories
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment, and comply with all safety/sanitary legal regulations
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining professional networks
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of management experience in high-volume restaurants
  • Food Manager certified
  • Strong leadership qualities, positive attitude, and ability to develop all team members and managers
  • Strong understanding of corporate mission and purpose, and ability to articulate corporate vision
  • Project competency and confidence, growth mindset, and effective teamwork skills
  • Certified to conduct inventory of china/glassware/silverware
