We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fire Protection Stock Lister to join our team at Southland Industries Inc. As a Fire Protection Stock Lister, you will be responsible for compiling lists of materials needed for piping fabrication and loose materials/long lead items for purchasing.
Key Responsibilities- Review applicable codes and manuals to determine material requirements and design for projects.
- Pull cut sheets from manufacturer websites and identify materials needed for projects to produce material package documents.
- Produce detailed material lists for multiple system types, including fabrication and loose material lists for PM/Purchasing on each sprinkler project assigned.
- Partner with design, PM's, and Purchasing to provide required information and lists in a timely manner for each project's schedule.
- High school degree or GED required.
- Strong math skills.
- General construction knowledge.
- Good project management and organizational skills.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
