Job Description

Job Summary: The Fleet Manager is responsible for supervising and building positive relationships with drivers to increase overall driver satisfaction and retention. This role works closely with customers and other departments to meet company and safety goals for drivers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driver Management: Coach and manage a fleet of drivers to ensure on-time delivery performance and fleet profitability.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate customer needs to drivers and act as the driver advocate toward internal departments to answer questions, concerns, and resolve issues.
  • Operations Coordination: Work closely with other departments to meet customer, driver, and company objectives and safety initiatives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Daily reporting of the number of drivers without a co-driver and work with operations and recruiting to fill those needs.

Work Environment: This role is eligible for additional pay via shift differential and works on-site at a CRST/Customer location.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $66,560 and $93,814, with a final offer amount dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location.
