The Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (MEI) Department at the Robert J. Manning School of Business, University of Massachusetts Lowell, invites applications for the Robert J. Manning Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct and publish high-quality research in the field of entrepreneurship, with a focus on nationally recognized contributions.
- Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with a minimum of three courses per academic year.
- Engage with regional and national entrepreneurial ecosystem stakeholders, fostering partnerships and collaborations.
- Mentor Ph.D. students and contribute to the development of the MEI Department's research agenda.
- Participate in university entrepreneurial initiatives and contribute to the growth of the regional entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
- Tenured Full or Associate Professor with a Ph.D. in a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited school.
- Demonstrated ongoing research with a record of publications in top-tier journals in entrepreneurship.
- Proven teaching effectiveness and commitment to experiential and career-connected learning.
- Active engagement with regional or national entrepreneurship organizations and a strong commitment to service.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student and faculty groups, and proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience in supervising and advising doctoral students.
- Strong commitment to service, both internal and external, and involvement in entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and external stakeholders.
