PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

This role entails using various equipment to prepare and serve deli food, including items such as pizza, sandwiches, and chicken.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Review the work schedule and prepare for tasks at the start of each shift.
  • Prepare and serve deli food items in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Assist customers and maintain the presentation of deli display cases.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Document losses using established tracking methods.
JOB TASKS:
  • Prepare and showcase sandwiches, pizza, chicken, and other deli items.
  • Roast, fry, slice, and serve food products.
  • Ensure cleanliness of equipment and cooking areas.
  • Adhere to proper food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Complete record-keeping tasks as assigned.
GENERAL GUIDELINES:
  • Report accidents and unsafe conditions without delay.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies.
  • Wear appropriate protective gear as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
  • Participate in training programs as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Able to understand and comply with company policies.
  • Must meet the physical requirements of the position.
  • Capable of operating necessary equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Shift hours may vary based on business needs.
  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand, sit, and walk as required during shifts.
  • Work in various temperature conditions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
