Job OverviewThe ideal MDS Candidate is detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to provide bedside care and meet with families.
Key Responsibilities- Collect information to complete the MDS using medical records, bedside assessments, and staff, resident, and/or family interviews.
- Participate in daily PPS meetings, weekly Medicare meetings, and monthly meetings to ensure federal billing requirements are met.
- Review the Plan of Care at least quarterly and with each Comprehensive Assessment to ensure changes during the quarter are included and updated.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with current state licensure.
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with a preference for long-term care settings.
- Minimum one year of MDS experience.
