This position operates in a HYBRID model, requiring on-site presence three days a week.
As the primary support for the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at UL Solutions, the Senior Administrative Coordinator plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative, secretarial, and project management support to the CAO and the Global Accounting team. This is a newly established position within our accounting division, designed to be at the core of all activities within our function, ensuring awareness of all aspects of projects and team dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitates public company operations, including meetings, scheduling, and coordination of signatures and participants.
- Organizes and maintains order for the executive's calendar, workspace, and daily responsibilities.
- Oversees goal deliverables for the global team.
- Manages multiple project timelines and escalates issues as necessary.
- Acts as a liaison with internal audit and compliance teams regarding action items.
- Provides support for external expenditures, vendor relations, and procurement processes.
- Administers the continuing education program for certified accountants and team members.
- Assists with budget management and accrual processes.
- Supports the team in communicating project status updates to stakeholders.
- Recognizes and understands the needs of assigned stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years' experience in a financial coordination role, preferably with project management experience.
- Familiarity with the objectives, processes, and procedures of a public company financial department.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in managing SharePoint and web content.
- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to thrive in a large, international corporate environment.
